As president and CEO of Critical Watch, David Laizerovich is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the company. His insight and entrepreneurial talents have led to numerous opportunities to mold the company’s technology and services into a powerful set of solutions with tangible value to clients and sustainable assets for the corporation. Prior to joining Critical Watch in 2000, Laizerovich was vice president and general manager of the telecommunications business SBU for IEX Corporation. There, he developed the overall SBU direction, strategic and tactical planning and was instrumental in the development of new products. Additional responsibilities included P&L for operations, sales and marketing, research and development and manufacturing. Under his direction, a small software development project group grew into a product-based entity with market-leading products. IEX was acquired by Tekelec Corporation in 1999. Prior to IEX he held various marketing and engineering positions with Motorola.
Laizervoch holds four US patents. He has a bachelors degree in electrical engineering/computer science from the University of Connecticut and a masters degree in business administration from the University of Hartford.
Eva Bunker, Chief Information Officer, founded Critical Watch and is responsible for driving the overall technology implementation and strategy. She brings 11 years of technology and security experience to Critical Watch. She has built a unique background that combines experience in Internet technology, product development and business operations. Prior to founding Critical Watch. Ms. Bunker held various executive technology positions at Match.com. Ms. Bunker often speaks at industry conferences and is considered an authority on PCI Compliance. She regularly speaks on PCI compliance and is a published author on the topics of security, IT auditing, and compliance.
Bunker is a member of the Dallas chapter of the FBI Infragard and holds a U.S. Patent for Network Security Testing. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Stanford University.
Co-founder and Chief Security Officer Nelson Bunker is responsible for Critical Watch’s security excellence in all aspects of product development and company operations. A true security practicioner with more than 10 years of experience in Internet security, he is an expert in the field. Prior to Critical Watch, Bunker was the CSO for Match.com, a leading Internet matchmaking company. He was responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of an infrastructure that grew into hundreds of services in a mixed and distributed environment. This system housed one of the most trafficked sites on the Internet. The amount of online transactions meant Match.com was a major target for security threats. To combat this, Bunker pioneered innovative ways of streamlining security activities, measuring security performance and integrating security management into the core business process.
Bunker is a member of the Dallas Infragard and holds a U.S. Patent for Network Security Testing. He also has served as a panelist at security seminars and events surrounding the trends and future for information security.
Curtis is responsible for overall marketing and product strategy as well as driving Critical Watch marketing communications efforts. He brings more than 12 years of experience to this position. His insight for discovering and developing new revenue streams, researching and determining product development plans and managing overall marketing activities was shaped by his experience building a company from the early stage to successful acquisition. Prior to joining Critical Watch, Curtis was an original management member at Match.com where as Vice President of Business Development he built and managed the affiliate marketing program and profitably utilized a multi-million dollar budget to drive online advertising and key strategic distribution partnerships with industry leaders such as MSN, Yahoo and AOL. An Internet pioneer, Curtis has been a recognized expert in the field of Web affiliate programs, publishing numerous articles and speaking at conferences. Prior to Match.com, Curtis also has held various sales and marketing positions at Dell Computer Corporation.
He holds a bachelor of administration degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and a masters degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
As vice president of product development of Critical Watch, Kevin Mitchell is responsible for shaping overall shaping overall product development and driving successful execution. Mitchell brings 13 years of product development, product management and technical management experience to Critical Watch. He was owner and chief technology officer of BondDesk Syndicate, an online municipal bond underwriting platform, where he created, staffed and directed the development of their offering. In addition, he authored the software development plan that led to three rounds of funding, resulting in a successful acquisition of the firm. Previous experience includes product manager, chief product architect and vice president of product development at Match.com.
Mitchell is a veteran of the United States Navy and holds a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Arkansas.
A true veteran of IT security, Harris brings more than 25 years of extensive experience in security, technology and regulatory compliance. He has held integral positions with several start-up companies – most notably ISS, where he was a key contributor in growing the company from its inception to $60+ million in under four years and Citadel Security Software where he served as chief strategy officer, growing the company to $20+ million also in under four years. Additionally, he was the visionary behind the Citadel – McAfree relationship. In his role with Critical Watch, Harris assists in shaping corporate strategies, developing additional channel partnerships and contribute to overall company goals.
